So,

I am desperately trying to get myself back in the habit of waking up early. The end goal is to wake up around 5:30-5:45am, get shower, make some coffee, eat some cereal and then write something, anything, even if it’s just a blog post, but hopefully work on something more substantial and then head off to the day job.

I am building to this in phases. yesterday, I got up at 5:45 and I was a the office an hour later. However I had not made coffee or eaten breakfast. I wrote a blog post, but Tumblr was down a bunch so I didn’t post it. So, this morning, up about the same time, hit the shower, started my car, ate a bowl of cereal, at work a little after 7. Writing this blog post now.

I am hoping that on days where I go in to work early, and therefore leave early, that I will spend that free hour or so in the afternoon working on something that will matter at some point.

Also, tonight is the first open mic at the new Red Raven location at 916 Front (the Firehouse kitty corner from the Main Ave McDonalds). It’s going to be a hot one, everyone should be there!
