Alright,

I was listening to NPR this morning, and they were running a story on the Kinect, the new XBOX 360 peripheral that turns the people playing into the controllers for the game. The person they were interviewing (the story has not yet been posted online) said (after saying there could eventually be military applications for this tech), “it’s valuable for your computer to know where you are in your house. It can know that you are in the kitchen now and maybe it turns the lights on in there, moves the music in there, and routes calls into the kitchen. It is a way to give a computer eyes and ears that it has never had before…”

Hmm, last time I checked, I’ve seen a computer with eyes and ears…it was called, the fucking TERMINATOR.

I love my MacBook Pro, but I’m pretty sure it would kill me and use my fluids as energy if given the chance!

In conclusion…Please, Microsoft, stop making terminators.
