Hi All,
DATES:
I have new dates that I will be posting in the dates section of my website today, but here is a sneak peak (there will be more details on the actual postings):
Thursday-Saturday April 5th-7th: MC at Skyline Comedy Cafe in Appleton, WI
Thursday May 17th Featuring in Brookings, SD
Saturday May 19th Featuring in Sauk Rapids, MN
Saturday June 23rd Featuring at Dub Linn in Duluth, MN (two shows)
THE ALBUM:
The album art is coming along nicely (Josh Wallace’s photos look great and Josh Trumbo’s layout is very sharp) and we are on track for getting a limited run of the CDs printed the first week of March so I will have hard copies on hand at shows. There may be a low key release party somewhere in town on Monday or Tuesday of the last week of March. So, keep your eyes peeled (OUCH). I’m really excited to post the cover and the track listing and all of that, but I want to wait until everything is done and ready to go. I’m sure you aren’t as excited as I am, but pretend you are for a second…see, it feels good, doesn’t it?

My compact disc is mixed and mastered all nice. It has a title and track names and some art. I am shooting some photos this weekend with the dashingly handsome Josh Wallace for the cover and other artwork. I will be making the CD available for the first time the week of March 27th-31st when I am featuring on the road at at Courtney’s Comedy Club with Tommy Thompson. I will be printing a small run of CDs for this first week of release as well as making the album available for digital download on iTunes, Amazon, and elsewhere. More info to come as we finish the artwork and all that. Exciting times.
My currently untitled LP/EP has been mixed and I think it does pretty much exactly what I want, in that it kind of dovetails the material I wrote pre stand-up with the new stuff I was working on leading up to the recording. The audience that showed up did so with the intention of laughing and having a good time and that comes through on the record. John Shea did a great job recording the thing and mixing/mastering it. I am looking into disc production and digital download stuff; and I’m working on album art with THE Josh Trumbo. So, Satan willing, it should be out just in time for you to disappoint your sweetheart with it on Valentine’s day. Keep an eye on my facebook and this space here for updates and preview clips, etc…
-FAQ
All,
I am featuring for my friend, headliner Mark Poolos, at the Black Cat on Friday, November 25th. There is a chance that many of you TRF people on the internet will be back for the Holidays. If so, I suggest you come out to the the show. Last time I was in town, everyone seemed to have a grand ‘ol time and as many of you know, Mark Poolos is no stranger to the area and he’s a very funny dude. I don’t know how much tickets are or anything, but if you call the Black Cat, or listen to TRF Radio, all will be revealed. I will post that info when I get it. Hope to see you out.
P.S I will be doing some new material so it won’t be the same set I did last year…or whenever it was I was there last…
I am looking for feature work for November/December and on. I am going through the standard channels as well, but having not worked for many the usual booking suspects yet I am putting out this call to any of my friends that are closing down rooms! Put me in coaches, I am ready to drive long distances for not so much money. Also, if it helps, I’m funny. Direct Message or email me at adamrossquesnell@hotmail.com. Let’s fill some weekends.

Featuring Josh Wallace
Special Guest JD Provorse
Hosted by the KAMIKAZE SNOWMEN
This show is going to be a blast. I am incredibly excited to the see the Kamikaze Snowmen MC a show.
Now, before all of my legit comedy friends cry things like, “The audacity of this brilliant prodigy! To think that he could record any kind of meaningful comedy CD less than 3 years in! I mean, the man is a young genius of our craft, but still, let’s not put the cart before the horse!!!”
RELAX! I was simply given a rare chance by a quality audio engineer to record a live performance with some fresh gear (on the uber cheap). So, in order to get the most out of it, I’m putting together an audience and recording a comedy CD. At best, I get a nice EP out of it…at worst…we never speak of it again!
See you there.
Sometimes my co-workers are freAKING hilarious. I was talking with my boss about horror movies, like I do at my awesome job, and I said, “they kind of slipped up on the Freddy Krueger redesign,” and one of my other co-workers, who is not a professional comedian chimed in and said, “Did they give him corn rows.” I ALMOST FUCKING PUKED SHIT it was so funny. Comedy is happening folks. LIVE IT!
