My Recorded Compact Disc: RELEASE INFO
My compact disc is mixed and mastered all nice. It has a title and track names and some art. I am shooting some photos this weekend with the dashingly handsome Josh Wallace for the cover and other artwork. I will be making the CD available for the first time the week of March 27th-31st when I am featuring on the road at at Courtney’s Comedy Club with Tommy Thompson. I will be printing a small run of CDs for this first week of release as well as making the album available for digital download on iTunes, Amazon, and elsewhere. More info to come as we finish the artwork and all that. Exciting times.
ALBUM UPDATE
My currently untitled LP/EP has been mixed and I think it does pretty much exactly what I want, in that it kind of dovetails the material I wrote pre stand-up with the new stuff I was working on leading up to the recording. The audience that showed up did so with the intention of laughing and having a good time and that comes through on the record. John Shea did a great job recording the thing and mixing/mastering it. I am looking into disc production and digital download stuff; and I’m working on album art with THE Josh Trumbo. So, Satan willing, it should be out just in time for you to disappoint your sweetheart with it on Valentine’s day. Keep an eye on my facebook and this space here for updates and preview clips, etc…

I AM COMING HOME! BLACK CAT NOV. 25TH.
All,
I am featuring for my friend, headliner Mark Poolos, at the Black Cat on Friday, November 25th. There is a chance that many of you TRF people on the internet will be back for the Holidays. If so, I suggest you come out to the the show. Last time I was in town, everyone seemed to have a grand ‘ol time and as many of you know, Mark Poolos is no stranger to the area and he’s a very funny dude. I don’t know how much tickets are or anything, but if you call the Black Cat, or listen to TRF Radio, all will be revealed. I will post that info when I get it. Hope to see you out.
P.S I will be doing some new material so it won’t be the same set I did last year…or whenever it was I was there last…

Hosted by the KAMIKAZE SNOWMEN
This show is going to be a blast. I am incredibly excited to the see the Kamikaze Snowmen MC a show.
Now, before all of my legit comedy friends cry things like, “The audacity of this brilliant prodigy! To think that he could record any kind of meaningful comedy CD less than 3 years in! I mean, the man is a young genius of our craft, but still, let’s not put the cart before the horse!!!”
RELAX! I was simply given a rare chance by a quality audio engineer to record a live performance with some fresh gear (on the uber cheap). So, in order to get the most out of it, I’m putting together an audience and recording a comedy CD. At best, I get a nice EP out of it…at worst…we never speak of it again!
See you there.
My Funny Co-Worker
Sometimes my co-workers are freAKING hilarious. I was talking with my boss about horror movies, like I do at my awesome job, and I said, “they kind of slipped up on the Freddy Krueger redesign,” and one of my other co-workers, who is not a professional comedian chimed in and said, “Did they give him corn rows.” I ALMOST FUCKING PUKED SHIT it was so funny. Comedy is happening folks. LIVE IT!
Body Image and the Media
I think the media certainly affects the perception of self body image among men and women. Right now however, I would hate to be a women feeling the pressure of the media. I mean, is the media trying to make women feel like they need to kill their babies to become moderately attractive thoroughly uninteresting women who get down in a care-free manner at nightclubs?
Chris Hansen is a Jerk not a Sexual Predator.
Hey everyone, Chris Hansen getting busted cheating on his wife is NOT the same as him busting would-be sexual predators. Huff-Po wrote up this story and they made sure to mention that the woman he cheated with was 21 years his junior (but still, she is an adult and a journalist), and the story proceeded to describe “to catch a predator” as “featur[ing] Hansen and an advocacy organization called Perverted Justice posing as younger women and communicating with older men online, and then catching would-be sex offenders at a location that they and the almost-offender agreed upon.” THAT IS NOT WHAT THE SHOW IS. The show poses as “WOMEN UNDER THE LEGAL AGE OF CONSENT” which is much different than “Younger women.” Clearly they are describing the show as such to draw a parallel (which doesn’t really exist) between what Hansen did and his show.
Is Chris Hansen a disgusting person for cheating on his wife and the mother of his children and then getting publicly busted for it thereby bringing disgrace to his family? YES. Does he actually share anything in common with the sexual predators that he busts on his show, no. Shame on you, Chris Hansen, but shame too on anyone who would liken what he did to the actions of the perverts he busts on his show…
The Kamikaze Snowmen Succeed (AGAIN!)
The Kamikaze Snowmen have shown us all once again why they are the most innovative comedy act in the Red River Valley. I participated in a show last night at the Red Raven called “The Kamikaze Snowmen Explain the Universe and Other Things” and it was a HILARIOUS time for all. The Kamikaze Snowmen reminded us “Hey, we not only write funny fucking songs, but we can also perform side-spltting/gut busting comedy duo sketches.” Paloma Segal delivered a dynamite version of her “Prostitute to the Bigfoots” five minutes and then her interview was lots of fun to watch. I had a great time on stage riffing on some of my more established bits, and then the interview was a blast. These Kamikaze Snowmen…really stepping up to the plate. Now, we just need to get them to LA…And then, oh the coattail riding that will occur.
